This Riviera runabout left the Chris-Craft factory right after New Year’s Eve on January 6^th, 1950 and was shipped to Amos Furniture in Asheboro, NC.

With the two-tone mahogany in blond and dark stain, these models were flashy!!!!

Dual or what is called a cockpit design instead of a “utility”, these runabouts were built in 18’ and 20’ sizes with varying engine options. This boat has the very desirable six cylinder “KBL” motor, set up with triple carbs generating a real 131 hp. The added chrome vent cover on the motor hatch adds a bit of functional “bling” too. 

“Sweet” comes with a custom tandem axle trailer and is hull number R-18-175. The bottom was fiberglassed years ago and offers a different “no soak” option. It has lived on nearby Pickerel Lake for a number of years and would be a beautiful addition to your fleet!
